So, I have a special macro for trout fishing, which I found after much experimentation. First, I make the longest cast possible, then I do a step lift to catch the fish, and then I fish it out. This is really the optimal method for fishing with ultralight baits. I recommend using a speed of 30 for this. If you need to adapt it to a specific casting or bait, you can experiment with timings.
