Select the desired word or phrase on the page in Google Chrome and press a predefined key. The macro will automatically copy the selected text and open a new tab with the search results for that query. The original page will remain open, and the search engine that is configured in your browser will be used.

To activate this macro, assign a key, for example, F9, and set the execution mode to one press. Launch it when the Chrome window is active, after you select the text. You do not need to hold down the Ctrl, Alt or Shift keys during activation, just wait for the macro to finish.

Please note: the selected text replaces the current clipboard contents. On pages with copy restrictions, the macro can insert previously copied content. Before using it on such pages, make sure that the usual Ctrl+C combination works correctly.
